The Youth Suicide Prevention/Awareness project is meant to address the challenge of decreasing risk factors while increasing protective factors for youth in their community and school environment. This will be completed by focusing on increasing positive mentor relationships, community engagement, advocacy for youth and family voices, and acceptance and understanding of mental health disorders to lower the stigma surrounding mental health. A key component will be around lifting the voice of the youth to share messages with other youth and to capture their wisdom and insights on how they are best supported.  Contact us for more info at childcollabbc@gmail.com
